About Me

About Me:

About Me:

I started my career as a nucleur physicist but by my mid twenties realised that it wasn't the path I wanted to pursue! I began working as an engineer and progressed to project managing mechanical service projects and commissioning engineering on many projects across the UK and Europe.

In 2008 and still feeling unfulfilled, using my experience of building and engineering coupled with my thirst for design, I begin advising on residential extensions. I joined apropos in 2009 as a freelance design consultant, visiting clients in their own homes and designing their extensions. During my time with apropos I have worked on extensions that have won awards and featured in magazine articles. Whilst working with apropos I have continued to work independently offering designs, advice, planning application services and recommendations for building contractors, glass suppliers and other elements necessary for project completion.

With my years of experience in the industry coupled with my working knowledge of projects, I can offer services from initial draft ideas and feasibility studies to completed plans, project management and advice regarding building regulations and structural engineers.
